I enjoyed Netflix's new documentary 'Five Came Back' about Hollywood directors filming WW2. Niche stuff, but very well done. Perhaps of further interest to the WW2 obsessive, though; I noticed during a recent Twitter exchange that they've made most of the films mentioned available to stream. Exactly the right thing to do, and quite a list from the original Memphis Belle to the Battle Of San Pietro: Netflix Military Documentaries movies and series - OnNetflix.co.uk If you don't already subscribe to Netflix, I think a month's trial is still free. Very easy to cancel if you don't wish to go further, and even if you've used your trial up, c.8 quid for a one-off view of these in decent quality might be well worth it.
I just finished watching it on the weekend as well. It also got me watching Desert Victory on youtube. And I'd be interested to see George Steven's colour D-Day footage.
