For anyone here following the progress with Mosquito KA114, I would humbly suggest my forum has some of the most up to date information and photos on it. The latest photos are on this thread: Wings Over New Zealand - Mosquito Roll Out Today And here is the air display poster:
Ooooooh... Delightful to see one so close to the sky. 16 Years with no Flying Mosquitoes has been too long I feel. Great stuff, and the best of luck to them for the 29th.
Looking and sounding brilliant! Is it just me or did the tail wobble a bit when on higher throttle towards the end of the clip? Hope this isn't a problem and she can fly soon. As Adam says, 16 years is too long. All the best for the 29th.

Just back from the airshow. Absolutely Fantastic. Awesome to see a Mosquito in the air. I'm sure there will be plenty of video on youtube shortly. Worth a look.
Got a good pooter sound system? Maybe a sub-bass? Crank it up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGfQQWOsoB8
Awesome... I was at a Duxford show some years back where they had a static Merlin and Griffon and were merilly throttling them up for the crowd...
Saw the mossie at Armistice in Cambridge day doing a run on the mock Uboat nothing quite like seeing and hearing it for real...

**** BUMP***** I was tracking down a post of mine on this thread from 8years ago started by Von Poop and thought the Thread interesting enough for a "BUMP" now that there are a few more flying these days. The "history" and what it could do are in my post #13 from 2006. A truly amazing aircraft. Cheers Geoff
