    Hallo,
We found a army Footlocker on my grandfathers attic recently. It was painted with a thick layer of black paint, but when my Brother started sanding it down he found the original paint and markings. Some of them like the Spades make me think it could be from the 101th. Also the blue line
I have Deen in a 101th helmet. Do you guys know anything more about them? 101th are any other unit you can think of?

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum.

By 101th do you mean the American 101st Airborne?

If so you may have better luck posting on the sister site ww2f which is more American forces centric than this site which is largely British & Commonwealth centric.

    http://ww2f.com/

Having said that there are some members who are active on both sites who may post a response here.

    Good Luck

    Steve

We also found out that the British used a red Spades as a marking for 1st batallion
