Hi guys. Gliderrider yes please send them over. Here's pic of the month: Noise reduction without blurring, sent to me by Paul S. And thanks Paul Pariso i'm still working on your map. The results will be 'epic'. Incidentally a new arrival to the forum is after your attention. beware of imitations. Pristine Image leads, others follow. Hi Rog, Love the picture you did for one of the members of the 53rd site Paul, i haven't forgotten about those negatives, i have found one lot once i have got the other i will send to you. all the best Keith
Fantastic work done on a very important photograph, I cannot remember seeing the colours it now has. Made me a very happy man.
I recently had Rog restore several images that I intend to use in my upcoming Osprey book on the 'Big Bertha' and WWI German Siege Artillery. Working with Rog was an absolutely positive experience and the results were stunning. I highly recommend him and his company! Attached is are low-resolution before and after images that Rog restored for me - a 1918 photo of a German 30.5cm Beta-M-Gerät howitzer that suffered a burst barrel. Regards, Marc
I had to get into this thread once again. I have never dealt with any photo restorers, and after working with Roger I have no need to ever look elsewhere. In these times when pride of workmanship and customer service seem to be obsolete terms, Rog is keeping those traditions alive. Just last week I wrote him in a panic as I had need of further work done to a photo he had already restored for me, and I wanted a copy for a Xmas gift. He responded immediately, and my photos are on the way. He even included a bit of extra work on it gratis. Notice the little man between my parents is completely gone, and Rog didn't even mock my pathetic attempt to remove him myself. Roger, you're the best and I hope you have much success. You deserve it!! I've shown this before, but the new and improved version is so awesome, I must post it. Who could ask for anything better?
Thank you Doreen. I wish that i could update this thread and my website as often as i'd like. There's so much happening behind the scenes and i'm constantly rushed off my feet what with all the enquiries. A very big thanks to Marius in the netherlands, who supported me throuought this year, i love our chats Marius, and i definately haven't forgotten you - we can talk again via skype before xmas day. There are so many jobs i've took upon pro bono and i aim to finish all of them, so to those of you that submitted scans to me - don't worry i will get back to you very soon. Thanks to Paul Pariso and Paul Smith, and to Marc Romanych who approached me for work needed for his forthcoming book. And thanks to Tom D, who supported me when i stood up in my pram when challenged, and for once it didn't tip over, What an amazing forum this is, populated by wonderful folks. i wish all of you everything you would wish for yourselves this Christmas, Happy Christmas and new year Rog
Hi Rog, good to hear from you. Glad you seem to have generated some business from your very kind free offers, I know members of my family are very grateful for your work. I have some ideas for other sites who might benefit from your great talent and will put them in touch with you. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Mike
Rog Welcome back ! It's good to learn that things are, deservedly, working out OK for you and the family photo you so ably restored for me is still getting plaudits. Compliments of the season Ron
Hi Rog have a great Xmas and a prosperous New Year your work deserves it. Thanks for everything you have done for me this past year. All the best Michael.
Your welcome Rog! Your passion and dedication to perfection is so obvious in every photo. As you know, these aren't just pictures for us, but precious mementos of loved ones now gone, and sometimes the only things we have to remember them by. To see photos so thoughtfully brought to life by you gives more joy than you can know. My brother is going to be stunned when I give him this, as he's never seen it any other way but tiny, damaged and sepia toned. I never dreamed I'd see it any other way either. A sincere THANK YOU to you, and have a wonderful Christmas!
