If anyone has this book (yes I know its rare), I need a look up for a man from "A" company, well I need to establish that there was only 1 man named H.Saunders on strength from the nominal rolls contained within the book.

    Any help appreciated.

    Regards

    Simon

I'm currently reading 'Road of Bones' about the battle of Kohima. I don't think that name has been mentioned yet, but if it does i'll let you know.

Thanks for that, I have that book, but the tittle requested has the nominal rolls in it which is the best source to confirm details.

Do they have a Museum in Maidstone? Anything at the national archives?

There's a single room in the Maidstone Museum (two minutes from Maidstone East railway station), but you'll need to make an appointment in advance to consult staff or papers.

    Hi,
There is a man with the surname of Cherry in “D” company but not George W. Cherry.

Listed is 6346257 Pte. E. Cherry.
He is also listed in appendix L, roll of honour, France and Western desert

    Hope that was useful.
    Barrie
