Fusiliers Ferret 'Then & Now'

    Chap at work is ex-Lancashire Fusiliers & Royal Fusiliers.
    He sent me these pics of one the Ferrets of the Recce Platoon in Hong Kong in 1968.
    He has found out that same Ferret is now owned by a Chinese-American vehicle collector and was out on a 4th July Parade.
    Thought it rather good & some of you would like to see it.
    I do like the 'Britishness' of the chap in shorts with a pipe.

    He's sent me another email, he's scratch built a Ferret.
    Crewman even has the LF yellow hackle.

    Dear Owen, thanks so much to show me the nice photo taken in 1968, the office who worn shorts and with a pipe, I can see formation sign of HQ Land force HK (yellow dragon on red cloth with brown stripe) on his left sleeve. N-I-C-E !
