Looking for information on Trooper G A Thornton, 14544537, 61st Reconnaissance Regiment. Died 15th June 1947, buried St John Church, Igleton, Co Durham, just wondered if anyone can shed any light on him, was he injured and died a long time after the 61st were disbanded, he's not on the role of honour.
    Many thanks for any info.
