In Germany there is no official government sponsored War Dead Records. However,two Germans started to record the war dead of Germany from both World Wars including the war dead of other countries.The two founders are called Ludger Baumer and Hans Alpert.Both men fund the the DAS ONLINE GEDENKBUCH out of their own pockets.
