Great grandfather royal artillery 222 battery

    Wow! Thankyou so much for that!! I had no idea what they meant really other than that they were regiments etc, but no idea as to why he was there so thankyou! Me and my brother are going to look into his records my grandma is over the moon about all this info, she never spoke to him about the war, but as the years have gone on she wishes she did so this means the world to her thankyou all. Any additional info very welcome too

    Can anyone tell me what insignia he may have worn during NW Europe, post D DAY Ive found this footage of the 67th medium I think which were in the same 4th army group royal artillery, so would it have been similar to this insignia Screenshot_20210401_114317_com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.jpg
