Grenadier Guards, Other Ranks: unofficial Nominal Roll by Army Number order

2625120 Gdsm William Albert Andrews 1926-2003
Possibly (from the medal entitlement) served Guards Armoured Division later in WW2 (less than six months service in Germany, so during 1945). He later served in the RMP in Malaya, but his transfer date from one unit to another is uncertain. Was a member of the G-Guards regimental association.

 

Hi there - have you obtained a copy of your father's service records? And have you tracked down a copy of the Unit war diaries to see what he was involved in during ww2?
