Thanks to Mike Holdoway of convoyweb.org.uk who directed me to this site. I have attached two sample photos. The American destroyer "Buck" was discussed in an earlier post of mine, which I have included to give some background info. This archival site address is: Nova Scotia Archives - 'An East Coast Port' Photo 1: H.B. Most interesting photos, including one of the Empire Liberty, the 'mother' of the Liberty ships, and three of Merchant Aircraft carriers, one with her four Swordfish on deck. I still haven't found a wartime picture of the m.v. La Pampa, but I keep hoping! ecalpald, thankyou for posting.
Hi Roy You may want to send the Nova Scotia Archives a note. They may have not put all the developed photos on their web site. Maybe m.v. Pampa will be there. The archive's contact page is: Contact Us | Nova Scotia Archives
Oh, that's interesting! I wonder if by any chance there is a picture of one of my grandfather's ships.
