    Thanks to Mike Holdoway of convoyweb.org.uk who directed me to this site.
    I have attached two sample photos. The American destroyer "Buck" was discussed in an earlier post of mine, which I have included to give some background info.

    Most interesting photos, including one of the Empire Liberty, the 'mother' of the Liberty ships, and three of Merchant Aircraft carriers, one with her four Swordfish on deck. I still haven't found a wartime picture of the m.v. La Pampa, but I keep hoping!

    You may want to send the Nova Scotia Archives a note. They may have not put all the developed photos on their web site. Maybe m.v. Pampa will be there. The archive's contact page is:

    Oh, that's interesting! I wonder if by any chance there is a picture of one of my grandfather's ships.
