A new memorial was unveiled this week to remember the Kindertransport who came to the U.K. to escape from the Nazis in 1938. For anyone interested here are some images: There is also a small presentation which has been in the Harwich museum for some time now and this mentions when some of the children stayed at the local holiday camp premises. This online item about the unveiling event is worth reading - and also it was quite amazing what one former Kindertransport child achieved in later life.
