Hello all, need a bit of help

Just so you all know, I won’t be specific as I wouldn’t be fair to the people involved but I found a family tree that has the correct marriage details for my Nan ad all concerned so I’ve contacted them in the hope they can shed some light on matters. I’ll come back and let you all know how I’m doing!

 

Word of warning about Ancestry trees. Some people don't do their own research thoroughly and hook up to info on other peoples trees and it can lead to mistakes. I hope this isn't the case for you.

Talking of Ancestry, there is a newish collection on there called UK Absent Voters List 1918-1925 & 1939.

A William George Rogers is on there for 1918 from Aston, Birmingham, AOC?

And typing William G. Rogers brings up the entry for one at Lewisham, London, B/337th Bde, also absent 1918.
