Hello everybody, A friend of mine has sent me a photograph of a helmet found by a man with a metal detector on Monte Cece (Gothic Line) where I understand 1 Duke of Wellington's Regiment, 3 Infantry Brigade, 1 British Infantry Division, were in combat on 6 October 1944. Can anyone confirm that it did in fact belong to a soldier from this unit? Thanks, Vitellino
