Hello, my name is Taylor and I would like to do my history fair project on the Holocaust. I would really like to email a Holocaust survivor to give me some details about how it felt to be in the Holocaust. So if anyone knows an email to a survivor please help me out. Thank you!
If anyone knows anything about any holocaust survivors please comment! I would really like an email to a survivor. Thanks
Hi, and welcome! With respect to your research I would think you may want to try places like The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (their research area), Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center, or the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Home | Simon Wiesenthal Center I'm sure your not the first person wanting to speak to someone who survived, and they may have better avenues for you to explore. A local Synagogue may also be a place to call and ask if they can help you. I'm really not certain if there are any survivors on this forum, I've never asked. Just out of pure curiosity, where are you attending school (US, UK, CA, AU, NZ...) and what grade level is your report for? Wayne
Read Anne Frank and put yourself in that position. Then make your judgement You may appear rude and insensitive if you simply email a Holocaust survivor and shout "what was it like?" Beyond that, attend your local Synagogue and TACTFULLY make enquiries. I have a feeling they would set you straight
You will find it very hard to find any survivors of the holocaust, one, they can not remember as they were to young at the time, secondly the adults at the time most are dead now, and thirdly, ones that are alive now don't want to talk about it.
