Can anyone identify which unit if any, this insignia belongs to. It was found in a box of souvenirs belonging to a vet who served in North West Europe. Thanks in advance.
Many thanks for the quick reply. Were 11 Corps in existence post WW2. The guy who owned them did do TA Reserve training with the Royal Artillery at Stiffkey. That's the only reason I can think why he kept that insignia.
For those with an interest in badges, regimental, unit, rank, cap and other from the worlds forces. Book 1: (1972) (Blandford Colour Series) Army Badges and Insignia of World War 2 Book 2: (1972) (Blandford Colour Series) Army Badges and Insignia of World War 2, Book 2
I've looked through the war diaries and sussed the 11 Corps connection. 102 LAA Regt who the Vet served with (and my Dad) were under command 11 Corps until they transferred to 1 Corps for the invasion of Normandy.
