    Hello all,

Since a while i have adopted three WW2 graves from airmen who died in the South West of the Netherlands during WW2.
From one of them i have a picture, and some more background information.
But i am also looking for pictures from the other two airmen.
    Their names are:
Sgt. David Alan Vaughan John, and Sgt. Kenneth Buck Minty.

More short information i have about them:
Sgt. David Alan Vaughan John was based at Graveley in 1942, and flew a Handley Page Halifax with the innitials W7676.
His reg. number was 1385838. He was a member of the 35 sqn.
His plane crashed on the 28th of august 1942 in the South West of the Netherlands.
When he died, he was 26 years of age.
Together with him on board of the plane were:
    Sgt. M.W. Booth
    P/O A.F. Birley
    Sgt. K.A. Higgs
    Sgt. K.G. Doman
    Sgt. A. Priestley
    Sgt. A.E. Graunsell.

Sgt. John is born in Cardiganshire, Wales, and as far as i know he was merried with Vera Mary Margaret Price.

From sgt. Kenneth Buck Minty i know that he must have been born in 1918, at the 3th or March. He was born in Keynsham, Bristol.
He must have joined the RAF at 18 december 1939.
His reg. number was 975773, and he was based at Manston. He was a member of 21 sqn.
    He has been placed at: 3RC, 10B&GS, 17OTU, 21sqn.
He flew in a Bristol Blenheim, in wich he was a radio operator/ gunner.
His plane crashed on the 23th of july 1941 in the South West of the Netherlands.
When he died, he was 22 years of age.
    Together with him died:
    Sgt. H.P. Hartridge (RCAF)
    Sgt. C. D. Philips

My question is: does anyone here has one or more pictures from these sergeants?
The reason why i want to have pictures, is that i want to give their names a face.
Because i think they deserve to be known for who they were.
If anybody has one or more pictures from them, would you agree to place those pictures in a database from the foundation where i am a volunteer? (wingstovictory.nl)
Ofcourse your name will be added to the database as well if you would like that.
The foundation wants to remember the airmen who died in the South West of the Netherlands.
Hopefully someone can help me with my search.
    I would really appriciate it.

    With best regards,
    Leon .

No pictures of either I'm afraid - perhaps if you apply for their service records there may be one in there. You could ask the question of the Squadron associations (if they exist )
