    Hello all!

In War Diaries of 52nd Lowland Divison they use a date natation I don't understand.

    Examples:
    151200A
    161200A
    171200A
    181200A
    111415A
    141555A

    D/TOO is mentioned.

    my guess is:
    14 (day) 1555 (hours) A( AM? Afternoon?)

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,

    Guido

    Guido,

You have the date-day format correct but the 'A' should the time zone which would be GMT+1 (GMT being Z, even in those days).

D/TOO is date/time of origin - when the message was sent.
