First saw this on a cold, wet windy day earlier this year. Photographed it today. Just inside the entrance to Tavistock Gardens.

Far more appropriate memorial, coincidentally in Camden High Street.

A ceremony to commemorate the victims of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki is held at the tree every 6 August, the anniversary of the bomb on Hiroshima,, 6 August 1945; Nagasaki was 9 August 1945.

Tavistock Square is associated to the peace movement.
London visitors supporting the cause of world peace should picnic on the grass.
