Right, this one I have no idea. British or German for all I know. Has a single gun mount fore and two singles aft, two banks of torpedos (?) and are those supposed to be mine layers on the back? 76mm length. Absolutly no markings on bottom. IMG_20210601_195352799.jpg IMG_20210601_195457968.jpg I'm done with these for the day. I'll try and get the rest up tomorrow

Ok. I think they are all 1200/1250 scale. Shame about the lack of markings. What is interesting is that the Tribal, Narvik and Elbing have all been cast vertically rather than horizontally. This makes me think they are 1/1250 collectors models (not my area of knowledge) rather than wargames models.
The place I would suggest to get a definitive answer is here : sammelhafen.de - 1250/1200 scale miniature ship models - thousands of photos, lists of almost all producers and more
He might even make you an offer for them.

Was there a mod to the Elbing's that removed the gun mount between the funnels, which as far as I can find out was fitted on all of them as built? Cos the one I have does not have this mounting.

I used the term Elbing to refer to any German small destroyer, as was done historically. I think that particular one is a Type 24 (Raubtier-Klasse).

This, with just one aft mounted gun and some torp launchers is I presume some sort of AMC. Any ideas? I havn't been able to find much out. IMG_20210604_155557630.jpg IMG_20210604_155626288.jpg 72mm length.

Been a while, got busy. Last few things:
1: Wickes Class 4 stacker: (tell me if I'm wrong)
    Wickes class 4 stacker.jpg
2: This looks almost exactly the same as what Wg Cdr Luddite ID'd as a Type 24. The differences are the funnel (which isn't different due to damage) and the length wich is a couple of mm shorter. Any ideas?

Lastly can anyone provide any clue as to what those U-Boats are? Are they verticle cast as well? The hull has similar casting marks to the others ID'd as verticle cast.

I have emailed that person you provided a link too Wg Cdr, I am awaiting a response.

The destroyer is indeed an unmodified US Wickes or Clemson class.
The first torpedo boat is a Type 35 Type 35 torpedo boat - Wikipedia
The last two are either Type 23 or type Type 24, can't really tell.

Well Wg Cdr, Oliver at the site you linked to has been unable to ID a manufacturer or what those type U-Boats actually are. Anway, I've no longer any use for any of the models so ebay it is.

General question to anyone: how would you describe these. I'm thinking (for eg with the U-boats) WWII U-Boat Unknown Type or Manufacturer Verticle Cast Waterline Metal 1:1250
And then what price to start the auction at bearing in mind I would start the price at the same point I think is the absolute minimum it's worth.
And if you have any suggestions as to the starting price of the other models I'd be grateful!
    TIA (I hope)

I'd be careful about that descrpition. They may not be German, and may not be WW2.
No idea about price, not my area.

    Another model:

Seemingly made of a form of plastic and provenance suggests 70 years of age plus. Has been damaged at the smoke stack, perhaps a cigarette burn?

    Grateful for any identifying info.

Thanks. That could fit. Original owner had a German pen friend between 1929-1977, with an understandable gap.

Suggest you get Conway's All The World's Fighting Ships 1922-45.

Thanks for pointer on Conway’s. Nürnberg or Leipzig seem in the zone. I had originally thought the model’s funnel was an air rifle slug casualty, but it is more likely a cigarette event.

The K class crusiers' two aft turrets were offset unlike the centreline configuration of the Leipzeg & Nurnberg. The K's also had a pole mast that was somewhat separate from the bridge structure. Concur that it's more likely the Nurnberg or Leipzeg.
