    Ooh, that was like pulling teeth... that is a rare beast then. The only 12.7cm gun that I can find in the German arsenal referance (Small arms, Artillery & Special weapons of the Third Reich by Gander & Chamberlain) is the 12.7cm Abkommrohr kanone, a "sub-calibre training gun used with 38cm SK C/30"

    Looks like a Savage M 1907 or 1915. There was a Portuguese contract for these at one time - perhaps prior to WWI.
