My father in law was in D day landings and went into Holland. He was in the 3rd Recce Northumberland Fusiliers. Would love any photos. He was sent home injured before end of war.

Hello Lise, Welcome to the forum. Some pictures here: Recce Photo ID - 3rd Division? Here is a list of those as leaving camp on 16 & 17 May. These comprised the Contact Detachments and the Beach Traffic Control Groups which landed on D-Day. The remainder of the Regiment (less C Squadron) landed 19-21 June 1944. C Squadron landed 3 July.
