Mark Driver Crossley was one of the four RASC Air Despatchers on the aircraft. There is some excellent information on pages 272/273 of the book "Green On" by Arie-Jan Van Heys. John

Thank you very much. I really appreciate this. My Dad is still alive and am doing this as much for him as myself. He was only 4 at the time and has few recollections of these events, I’m not sure he ever really knew. I will sit with him and go through these along with the pics I took such as the crash site as it is now. Take care, love to all, Mark
Hi Mark, I spent some time researching Henry E. Colman some years ago, because I'm fairly convinced he was my grandfather. It's a long story, lost largely in the fog of war, but many things point to it being the case. The only thing missing for me (and my brother) is some kind of photo - the only one we found was of the crew of the fated plane, which showed everyone BUT Colman. If you, or anybody else has any idea where we could get a photo, my brother and I would be extremely grateful. All the Best Matt
