I came to register today and discovered I'd made an account years ago and never logged in!

My name's Alistair, formerly from the UK now living in the US. Traditionally I have been a collector of primarily First World War medals, and researching those individuals. However, while relocating my collection I found a medal group that I had set aside for later research and never got around to doing, so as the Second World War is not my strong suit in terms of individuals' history.

Looking to hopefully find some more information on Pilot Officer Keith Albert Bayliss (162252) who served with 208 Sqn flying Spitfire ER863. I'd like to find a photograph of him, and a period accurate representation of his Spitfire if possible. He was killed in action on 6th June 1944, and I only this week realized that I had inadvertently visited his grave in Cassino while on a trip there following where my Grandfather had passed through part of the 3 / Welsh Guards.

Looking forward to looking around some more, thanks!
