Hi, I’m hoping to find out a bit more about where my Dad was during the Battle of Imphal and the recapture of Burma. He served with the REME and later the IEME. He was a trained Turner, completing his training before being posted to India and Burma. I know he was mainly in Burma but not sure of when and the route he would have taken. He sadly passed away this year, in April, but did not readily talk of his time in Burma. I have his war medals and some old photos that he was given before he returned. I will make a separate post in another forum to ask for more specific information, but thanks for reading. If you have any tips for me please let me know, as this is all new to me and I’m not sure what questions to ask! Thanks Jan
