Im looking for books about Iowa type battleships but only about their service during world war two. There are plenty of books but about ww2 service and cold war. I want to read only about ww2. I ve already found this one. It is worth having it? Are there any other books about this topic? Please help.
Go to this website……it has “books” on all sorts of military subjects, the title says Regimental Histories, but it has the history’s of US Navy ships in them (you need to search thru) including some Iowa Class BB’s…..and many of these histories are of their wartime period I have downloaded most of the ship histories which include DD, APA’s, BB, CL, CVE’s etc etc etc. The one Iowa class I’ve seen is: USS Missouri BB63 World War Regimental Histories | World War Collections | Bangor Public Library
