My grandfather was on RMS Laconia when it was torpedoed by a German u boat in 1942. He survived. He was sent to Casablanca interment until the allies rescued him. He was in the RASC serving in North Africa. He boarded the Laconia in Cape Town. I would to chat if anybody knows anything about this who knows any of the surviviors. Juliet
