Hi! It's the chapter regarding/entitled "Project 14", about the Abwehr's various attempts...or rather, plans!...against the Panama Canal :)

Is there any mention of the 1943 plan to carry two Stukas to the Carribean disassembled in uboats, to be assmbled there on a cay and flown off again the Gatun Dam gates?

Just read the chapter in question and while there is no mention of Stukas in the chapter or index it does mention that Goering had from as early as 1939...... wanted to drop two bombs onto the Culebra pass in the Sierra de Panama, a mountain bordering on the canal, he had hoped that the Luftwaffe might develop long range bombers of the Condor type named FW 200 it was a four engine low wing monoplane with a cockpit crew of three.Cruising at about 200mph with a ceiling of 20,000 feet, he however never got his wish, as he had said in 1939 that " Two of my bombs dropped on the Culbra cut would render the entire waterway unusable in ten minutes".
