Woke up to a light dusting on snow. Whilst walking the children to school saw on crunch between a 4x4 and a BMW, I did chuckle. After I dropped the kids off I wandered down the local lake & took a few pics. It's all frozen over.
Quite a lot near Canterbury this morning. Not as much as I'd hoped for, and daughter off sick from school, so didn't go out today - thankfully! It's still very cold!
A small amount of snow fell near Sevenoaks and I could not use the car due to the lanes not being gritted. Attached is a view from the back of the house. The wind has increased and it is very cold.
Here in berlin we had between 4-6 inches overnight and chaos reigned. Tonight the forcast is for between -15 and 17oC and so it will be another day of Chaos on the roads tomorrow morning. Think I will take the youngest to school by sledge in the morning and leave the car alone! Regards Tom
Phil, Great backyard photos! Took my youngest to school by sledge this morning and wrapped up well as it was minus 15oC. When I arrived home between my liner and outer jacket the sweat had turned to ice! Being a Huskey for half an hour was enough! Regards Tom
MC....that is snow and really nice snow at that....i had enough to dust a car slightly....cant you send some over my way? Donnie
I've just received some nice winter pictures from a relative in Holland. Taken over the last couple of weeks, where the temperature has dropped to -15C. The Dutch go mad when it freezes and it is often said that they were born with skates on.
Just returned from the Uk the other night into four inches of snow - which is abit unusual for this area , fortunately one of the neighbours had cleared the driveway and made it easy for me to run the car into the garage without shovelling.... Cheers
Here in Berlin the forcasters told us it was going to get warmer this week. They got it wrong as it was -10oC and cold this morning. Regards Tom
