I'm hoping someone can help me with the War Diary covering 21/11/43, I'm trying to find the details of the deaths of Troopers Richardson and Gunthorpe - I'm trying to find out about the death of a RASC lad (Dvr Lisle) who is buried next to them in Minturno and looks to have been next to them in his initial field grave, same date of death and ID's the same way (by a label) so I'm just checking in case the deaths are linked, but even if not the location of their deaths is probably going to be an indicator of where the Dvr Lisle was killed
Aati hasn't been around since 2018, maybe worth a message, he presumably still has copies? 46 Recce war diary [Deleted] or 46 Recce corps – Italy Star Association 1943-1945
I've got a bit about Lisle in this thread Casualty Service and Paybook Collection but like a few of the other casualties its unfortunately vague and I'd like to build a bit more of a picture Looks like Aati isn't messagable and oddly I can't seem to tag them into my post using Aati in the hope a notification draws them in for a look - I'll have a look at the Italy Star Assocation forum post Thanks both edit - looks like I have tagged them in, odd as when I typed it wasn't bringing up the name as it usually does
