    thank you for the information, once i finished uni i wanted to try and go through all the records and find out what zacharias did from the day he joind the army to his last day.

    The marriage in lambet might be because at the time, I belive more of my family members move over from Cyprus to the UK

    i found out that victor was also in the army. not sure what reg he was in.

    what i found out is Zacharias surname is mixides, which is right casue that the famaily name. im not sure why he would use Georgion when he came to the UK

    On the Darlington Memorial Hospital he is listed as
    Georgiou Zacharias Mixides but his unit is wrong at the time of death it still reads Durham Light Infantry

    my grandparents have some docements that where handed to them, over the weekend im going to read through them all to see if there any more information.

    yeah belive it was zacharias brother that did the donation in his name.
