Im looking for more reserch about the 377TH Infantry Regiment Company C. My Grandpa told my Dad a story about the Germans being so precise with there 88’s when he was setting up in a middle of a cross roads in Metz, France in a Machine gun nest my grandpa watch the German artillery shells go down one street and turn down another street the road that my grandpa was on so they gathered up there Guns an ran out to turn around and watch the shell hit beside the machine gun nest that they were in. Any addition information or photos you might have could you please share them with me.

My Grandpa Vernis Ivan Church was a Platoon Sergeant in the 95th Division with Patton Third army Iron Men Of Metz, 377TH Infantry Regiment, Company C. I’ve been trying to do a lot of research to find out more about the stories about where my grandpa was at. I’m also hoping to find some photos of him.
My Grandpa also fought in Luxembourg, Holland and crossed the Rhine with General Simpsons 9TH. Then my grandpa entered the Ruhr pocket and fought with the 2nd armored division with the hell on wheels division. My grandpa saw a lot of combat at the Battle of the Bulge. Thanks Cody
