    This is photo from a album picked up today it says with the long range desert group

    Pity they're standing in front of the tac sign. LRDG used a patrol letter / vehicle number combination but usually one above the other, rather than side by side.

    On the photo it says with the LRDG near Siwa Oasis, there are more photos I will post soon

    I picked an album up yesterday that is full of military photos and a few desert photos that a soldier has taken.

    You may not be able to see from the photo but next to the fuel tank there's a desert rat sign. I will post more photos from this great album image.jpg

    Great pictures, thanks for posting. Can anyone make out the census number on the Crusader? Also, the graffiti on it looks like it is German or Italian (3. would have been written 3rd in English)?

    The tank climbing on the Transporter is a Valentine?

    Sorry for late reply - Unfortunately I cannot see any relation to the LRDG on above posted photos.
