This is my final search for the friends of Lt Beadle. Tunisia 30th May 1943.

On my way back from my liaison I noticed an AA RHQ moving into an olive grove and following my usual custom,
stopped to ask if anyone had heard of a Mr Hewitson.
“Yes in that tent over there” came the answer. And there he was, just the same as ever,
spruce and shining and hair well brushed.
He is at the moment an Ast. Adj. Having been demoted from Captain to Lieutenant after an argument with his CO
on the subject of spit and polish during battles.

They met once after this but never made contact again.
Roy was thought to have moved to be "Guarding the skies over Pantellera".

We seem to be looking at 90 LAA would anyone have an Monthly Return for Officers with the name Hewitson R
    for May 1943.
They also went to Anzio. Lt Beadle knew Roy Hewitson was in Rome but never managed to meet up with him.

Lt Beadle was killed in Florence Sept 1944.

    What happened to Roy Hewitson.
