On Back to Normandy you can search by maps. There was/is always a possibility to see a map by month. And by theme. Check the menu! But for a few maps (like June 1944 with more than 8000 markers to be plotted) the number of records are getting too big for most computers: http://www.backtonormandy.org/maps/maps-1944/june-44.html For practical reasons I made maps "Day by Day", starting the first of September 1939 until 8 May 1945. From the main menu item "Maps" and scrolling down to the desired year/month you can choose every day you want to see in this period.
