    Try: 2nd battalion, Middlesex Regiment help please Which refers to sources too

    2 Middx does not appear in the last list here of Ancestry files: Ancestry - War Diaries

    I did search here for WDs without success. As a battalion providing medium machine gun (Vickers) and mortars (3") that may hinder you, as they moved where needed by infantry battalions.

    There is quite a lot of graffiti from the Middlesex Regiment dating from WW2 when they were based in Killymoon Castle in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

    It can be seen on the walls of the castle.
