Military Hospital In Rome

Trying to locate a Military Hospital in Rome where a local WW2 veteran spent some weeks recovering from injuries. He thinks it was near the Coliseum.

Is there a listing of WW2 hospitals similar to that for WW1? Help would be appreciated.

I assume he was injured in combat and not as a POW.
