    Come and experience the sheer power of some of the biggest tanks as well as the more quirky peculiarities of smaller vehicles such as jeeps or even 1940s ambulances.

    A sort of mini War & Peace show at Duxford IWM on 21st June complete with tank rides!

    Those fathers amongst you can suggest it as a Father's Day presents from your kids...

    I always mean to 'do' Duxford but it's always too close to Tankfest & Beltring.
    Maybe this is the year, just to see their Conqueror running.

    I wish you a successful weekend, with good weather.

    Before moving to Germany, Duxford was one of my favourite places to visit, even though it was a fair old drive from Preston.

    Duxford or Whitehall. Whitehall or Duxford. Got to go to one of them.

    Missed Normandy and that sucked big time and glad there were so many others that went from here and shared their photos and experiences.

    Which one do I go to. Whadaya think?

    If youve not been to Duxford you will kick yourself you didnt make 3 days to do it in.

    Go to Duxford.

    (And if you're into vehicles, or any other specific area; start at that particular shed... otherwise it'll be getting dark by the time you've pottered around the rest of the collection & stood for far too long watching the aircraft restorations in progress.)

    Thanks. I am just lucky to live near by really.

    I believe they will be getting a Eurofighter soonish donated by the MOD.

    I feel very tempted to go. I don't know much about Tanks and vehicles, so maybe time to expand my knowledge of these things.

    How long would it take to get there from just south of the Dartford Tunnel.
