    Hello,
we put up memorial stones in our area for british soldiers who died in our area and we also put up memorial stones for victims of the Nazis. On the 20th of April 1945 british planes attacked a train near Mulsum. Mulsum is close to Stade in the lower Saxony of Germany. The british soldiers thought that it was a military train. As soon as they recognized that KZ prisoners jumped out the train they stopped shooting and went of. We are trying to clear the history. Is someone of you who knows anything about it. Are there anywhere documents or photos of it? Maybe someone of you knows about this case ? It would be nice to find more information.

And then we are searching for another case in our area. At hhe End of March or in April 1945 a british plane crushed down on a field between Aspe a small village near Kutenholz and Wedel. That all is close to Stade. Probably the plane was on the way to Hamburg or came back. Smoke was seen before it crushed down. It seems that the pilot survived. Later in may 1945 the british took was left from the plane to a unknown place. Could have been a Tempest or Typhoon. Can anyone please help?
    Thanks and best wishes
    Debbie

Thanks...I know this link. The problem is we never could really clear if it was Blee or not. The witness told us that the pilot throw papers in the burning plane. Others remember that he was captured and they walked through the village with him. Blee was so much injured. Could he walk and burn papers? That's wy I thought to ask here. Maybe we find other informations. But thanks for your help.
    Greetings
    Debbie
