Sounded too interesting to miss..... (Along with couple of novels - a Hardy and a Trollope (Anthony not Joanne of course))
It arrived! Looks very promising. Any chance of a book on the Mark VI Light Tank? It was cheap....that's my excuse.... Centred on 49th Bty, 48th LAA Regiment but also looks in general at the Allied forces in Java Enjoyed his other work and this one got some good reviews. Took awhile to get here but looks promising. and finally a selection of quick reads: My budget is now spent!
I've picked up some documentary evidence that shows that the Bishop, far from being the ungainly joke of yore, was actually quite a gnarly and impressive fighting machine, and could go toe-to-toe with enemy panzers.
Well I'd think that some Italian armour would certainly be vulnerable but the Bishop was intended as an SPG and not meant to go toe to toe with enemy armour

Well, I am rewarding myself for things done this week by ordering a copy of Mark Hayward's historical/modeling book on the Sherman Firefly
