Hi all, well after a few emails to a very helpful chap called Jonathon at Bov, after your advice, I'm now sitting here with my Granfathers tracer card and transcripts of some SRY War Diaries I'm hoping the image uploads ok, and would welcome any further knowledge so I can better understand what I'm looking at. Something about X & Y lists? Onward with some deciphering

In my experience I have found that a lot of men not sent to hospitals, were placed on the Y list, just pre demob. So I have a feeling that the Y list procedure was possible updated again towards the end of the war to include those being demobbed. As in C. B. Payne. Y listed 10/3/46. Demobbed 14/7/46.
