Yes, the As and Ts (M6A1, 2, 3, 4) on this animal are pretty much arcane, based on welded or bolted hull, or engine setup, so I decided to not eve risk it ;)

So now, where is this gentleman taking his beauty sleep? Pic scanned from a 1943 "Sphere" magazine :)

I agree, as here is the side door on the other side..(I would of got it first but spent the evening with the Mrs for a change, instead of being here. :) )
    M3 Grant Walkaround

Yep, M3. Those are the 37mm ready rounds for the turret gun behind his head.
Where would that have been in 1943? Quite late for an M3. Grant, still in the desert or Lee in Burma?

You three got it right, it's a Lee in Tunisia. So I suppose the next post will be a joint effort?

Late model PzKfw 38(t) chassis, judging by the lack of return rollers. Maybe a Marder III or a Grille

Tentatively going for the Humber I or more likely II but a little thrown by the chain drive as I think of it as a much earlier feature?

Sorry for the confusion mate, but they are two seperate vehicles. A very hard one (exaust pipe), and an easier one (armoured car).

    Which is not a Humber

Aha. Shooting from the hip then, is the chain drive one an M26 dragon wagon?
