    Just ordered Pallud's "Blitzkrieg in the West" - One of those "must have's" that I'd always put off because it seemed a bit dear.

    Adam, you didn't have to mention the price, you could just have said "cheap" or something !

    One of the penalties of living "abroad" is missing out on that sort of bargain (Cheap beer though

    Rich, Console yourself that you just made me look at N&MP's current 'Then & Now' prices... far too tempting, especially with eBay having ballsed up the Tank section, I was hoping I could lay off the book-buying for a while.

    These strikes don't seem to have affected us at all?

    My only consolation is that The Blitz T & N 3 volume set is still cheaper on Amazon - but I've been good and resisted tempation (until now but you guys have just reminded me of it :Cartangry:). But I've developed some great biceps with the BoB T & N.

    The Amazon prices are quite good at the moment as well. I'd had it bookmarked there for a while. My problem in bookshops was always that I could pick up three or four other books for a similar price.

    Am I correct in recalling that the "then" photos in Blitzkrieg are not all that well reproduced ? A bit 1970s ?

    Adam, what do you mean about eBay ? Have they been changing classifications ?

    ...and Owen's booked himself some time off before the kids go back to school ! No hurry for me because I'm having it sent to my parents' address.

    Anyone ordered stuff on this sale?
    Seem quite slow in despatching orders.
    Maybe I'm so used to other on-line book sellers that I'm expecting too much from them?

    To find this thread I did a SEARCH for "naval military press" but when I click on the result it gave me "internet won't display".
    To get to this thread I went via stevew's profile & his threads.

    Airbrush/ATB/airbrush/ATB/airbrush/ATB... I'm conflicted here... :mellow:

    If it's specifically ATB books anyone's after their 20% off is available direct from them without a third party until January ends.

    Just phoned them, seems a nice chap on the phone.
    They're awaiting one of the books to arrive to complete the order.
    (History of 4 SLI )

    I thought I did well at £20 ! ( via Wehrmacht Awards , A friend on holiday in the US brought it back for me).
    An excellent book - always something new to "find" in it.

    I do think there might be the foundation for a "self help group" here :)
