Can anyone supply any such information of Neale family members who took part in Operation Market Garden. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks Chris.

Was it someone from this forum that helped you before. If so, you could check your posts and or messages to see if you still have that contact. Jason.
A family pays tribute in a Hull and East Riding news story to a Les Neal (without the final e) who recently died. Les was wounded at Arnhem while attempting to save another: Gallant WW2 Veteran - Hull and East Riding News

Gunner E.W Neale 3rd Battery 1/A/L Regiment RA Private J.R. Neale 1st Parachute Battalion 7Pltn S.Company POW Private M. Neale unit not known Edgar Walter Neale (1145238) Pte J R Neale (5125762) There is also an entry in the POW's register for a Pte M Neale (5127174) of the Army Air Corps so perhaps that is the fella Philip listed above? The only other "Neale's" I have are Capt F J T Neale GPR (KIA at Arnhem), L.Sgt Neale of the 2 S. Staffs and Lt D M Neale who joined 2 Para post Arnhem (pics below). I've also attached a copy of a pic of No.7 Ptn, S Coy, 1 Para. It was taken just prior to Arnhem so Pte J R Neale may be in it but I haven't been able to pick him out! All the best..............
Gunner Edgar Walter Neale my uncle, qualified as an Architect after the war and emigrated to America. He died in Philadelphia in the late sixties. I have only distant childhood memories of him and no photographs. He was awarded the Dutch Bronze Cross....citation on ParaData site. RIP
