    CWGC added the following casualties to its database today.

    Ord Smn Harry Lewis BRIDGES
    D/JX.234193 Royal Navy, HMS Skirmisher
    Died 06.12.43 Age 22
    Commenorated: Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon, UK

    Chief YoS William Arthur CRESSEY
    C/208123 Royal Navy, RN School, Holbrook
    Died 16.07.43 Age 59
    Commemorated: Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent, UK

    NOT FORGOTTEN

    The above were In From the Cold Project cases.
    - O/S Bridges died of unspecified causes (Volunteer: Antony Kozlowski)
    - Chief Yeoman Cressey died of unspecified causes (Volunteer: Dik Winkelman)

    Royal Navy wartime death certificates do not give specific causes of death. They simply state ‘Died on War Service’.

    Grave Found Holbrook All Saint's Churchyard. Yes where else would he be buried, but 5 years ago the incumbent clergy told me he was not buried there.
