"Wars are not won by evacuations." The tag-line is nonsense, but I'm still looking forward to the film.
I promised myself I wouldn't moan about the film but I can't say from my numerous visits to the evacuation beaches that I ever saw any rocks on the beach.

Dunkirk – Official Movie Site – In Theaters July 21, 2017 21 hours later, the sun has set and risen again but otherwise nothing else has happened. Wonder how long they're going to let this livestream run before pulling it or actually using it to tell us something more about the film?
Well to be fair the part played by the RAF especially is often overlooked - probably part in the operation was out of sight of the poor buggers on the beach who kept wondering why the Air Force wasn't doing more to cover them. Edit - well that and the fact they've got big names in roles relating to all services.
Which is sort of stupid, I think, considering the resources available - esp. with a budget as Nolan must have? I just don't get it, it's not like the info isn't available (and overly difficult to find), so why don't they care enough about getting things right?
