Normandy Holiday 2010

Been back a week, but this is the first time I've had to get my photos sorted. Had a great trip, with good weather, stayed in Sully, which I've been to a few times now, and ended the stay with two nights at the La Fiere Battlefield B&B (more on that later).

Just a few photos to avoid flooding the place (I took 1,100!!)

We did a walk up the Corridor of Death and found a whole load of relics including this buckle; presuming it is German?

 

Visited the 'Pratt Memorial' which I'd not been to before.

 

Also visited the site of an Airborne medvac hospital at Hiesville.
