Official Air Historical Branch narratives

Tweeted today a pointer to a new online resource: https://www.raf.mod.uk/our-organisation/units/air-historical-branch/ahb-narratives/

There are four categories shown; two are WW2 campaign narratives and WW2 thematic studies.

The other two are: Regional Studies and the Cold War Era and Post Cold War Studies.

I have looked at what is there, though not examined the content, explore away. Some of the files are quite large.

My Mac gives a "Blocked Plug In" message when I try to open files on the site.

Thanks, David ( I assume that is your name ), it looks a very useful site. Thanks for alerting us all. I think the Mac needs an upgrade. Another site said my version of Safari was out of date. John

 

I’ve downloaded several documents from the RAF AHB over the years. There is a lot of useful material, including early draft material for Webster and Frankland’s SAOG.

 

Not sure if that helps but I downloaded them all through Firefox on a Mac.
