Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm an Ex RCSSC PO1, and RCN A/B Reserve Member having served on the HMCS Columbia. I belong to a group of war gamers in White Rock British Columbia and am interested in WW2 from many perspectives. I'm a modeler, amateur historian and gamer. My Mothers first husband was a Canadian who served in the RAF in Bomber Command. A small idea of who he was is here: Photographs taken on HMS Wolsey on 30 May 1940 My wife's Grandfather was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1940 at the age of 34, married with 2 children into the 281st security division. Sent to the eastern front as a cook, he was subsequently killed at the battle of Newel outside Velikiye Luki Oct 29, 1942. I follow the Canadian Army in Europe, also the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry.
