OPERATION VARSITY 24th MARCH MARKS HALL

Hi all,
Today was the 66th anniversary of Operation Varsity.
The GPR held their Service of Remembrance, today at Marks Hall near Colchester in glorious sunshine, it was well attended, and a flypast by two Apache helicopters, I have added some pictures of the day.

Thanks for the photos, Lofty; Lindsay said she'd met you. I will get there, one year.

The three GPs are all friends of mine - it's Brunskill BTW. I was with Jack last year in Normandy; he's a real character! All three are regular attendees at our annual reunion, and I'm looking forward to catching up with them in October.
